Fiz'i:k -Customer Service Done Properly!

    A couple of you may have heard the tale of woe about my poor Fiz'i:k Arione that snapped on me the other week (possibly due to a combination of my stupid Alien seatpost and my not insubstantial bulk).

    Anyway, it was a two year old saddle, picked up cheap in the CRC flood sale, and so I thought "I've nothing to lose, let's fill out a Quality Claim on the Fiz'i:k website"... couple of days went by, and a lovely email came back asking me to send the saddle in to Selle Royal (the company that owns Fiz'i:k), including a UPS number to use for the delivery.

    Send in the saddle, and a week or so goes by, and then another email arrives -will it be the one telling me to lose weight, and feck off cos what were you thinking sending in a 2 year old saddle designed for a much lighter arse? Nope, I got:
    This is just to inform you that we've sent over to the provided address by UPS a replacement saddle cause the one you returned could not be fixed properly.

    Now that is customer service, as I'm sure as hell going to be an even bigger Fiz'i:k fan from now on.

    ...now to just cross my fingers and hope the new saddle is pink
