Steriliseing bottles

Anyone know if running bottles thru dishwasher is good enough? Bit of a pain soaking 30 odd bottles in the bath. I have screw cap bottles (for wine) , would imagine washing and sealing caps would be good enough. Thoughts?

I know one home brewer who sanitises his bottles in the dishwasher and has never had a problem with it.

The caps, and anything else that'll touch the beer, need sanitising too.

I bought some big plastic containers in tesco and I pour in my sanitising fluid and load them with (beer) bottles. Handier then having to use the bathroom

I put my bottles in the dishwasher and bung in a Milton tablet. Not had any problems with sanitization.

I have always just soaked my bottles in a plastic bin with sanitiser and then into the dishwasher in batches of 20 on the highest heat setting with no detergent.

Seems to work well giving me rinsed and dried bottles and had no problems yet from about 20ish brews.
