    Lynch to miss Sizing ride

    Sizing Europe
Andrew Lynch will miss the ride on Sizing Europe at Punchestown after breaking his wrist.

The jockey also fractured his right humerus in a heavy fall from Fearless Falcon at the second-last in the Weatherbys Ireland GSB Hurdle.

He was taken to Connolly Hospital for X-rays which showed he required surgery and he faces a spell of up to two months on the sidelines.

Dr Adrian McGoldrick, chief medical officer of the Irish Turf Club, said: "Andrew has broken his left wrist and right upper humerus.

Nice to see Timmy picking up some good rides now that Ruby's back and he's not getting any on Nicholls' horses. What bad luck the jump jockeys are having this year regarding injuries.

great to see timmy murphy pick up a great chance like this, gave sizing europe a great ride at cheltenham a couple of years back now, and getting poker de sivola to win last weekend must surely be the ride of the year.
