    it'll work provided the Exif data stores the serial number of the camera.

    For instance in my case i get the following:
    The 'Canon Canon PowerShot G10' does not write serial information in the exif.

    :(

    I always upload my photos to flickr. I did a search just there and it found no photos with my serial number. Maybe my cam (nikon d7000) doesn't store the serial in the eExif as default?

    A lot of programs(LR,PS) take out part/all of the exif. Facebook which is quickly becomming one of the worlds biggest photo sharing sites( maybe if already has!) stores no exif, so this site will have lots of issues.

    It has limited use even though it's a good idea.

    It may work with lower end models but will fail for serious cameras as they will be mainly used in RAW and then the photo's be passed through a PP workflow. This seems to strip a lot of the EXIF.

    I just put up a jpg image from my D300 and it did not find any other images.
