    Hi Folks,

Does anyone know how to download to the SD card on a Samsung Galaxy Ace? The user manual has nothing in it on how to do this and I can't seem to work it out myself :o

I've googled it but there seem to be a few different ways of doing it and I'm not sure how reliable the sources were. I only got the phone so don't want to mess it up!

    Thanks! :)

Can anyone help me with this? It's really wrecking my head now! Everytime I try to download an app, I get an error "cannot save to USB Storage/SD Card". Does anyone know what this means?

I know absolutely nothing about android phones so I really need help. I tried the Samsung website but it's useless

Can you download to the internal storage then use Astro or root explorer or some other file manager to copy them to the external storage ?

    I'll try this.

I removed the SD card and was able to DL some apps. Tried to use the Apps2SD which is recognising that some apps could be moved to the SD card but now am getting a "cannot move to card" error. Maybe Astro will work, I'll try this.

    Thanks

Not all apps can be moved to SD card. Widgets can't either.

What I've done is the following:

If I remove the SD card, I can download apps. If I put the SD card back in, some won't download. So then I downloaded the App2SD, but if I try to move the apps to the SD card using this, it looks as though they might move for a min, then I get an error "Failure to move application". It's very fustrating :(
