    They are excellent pictures, have seem them posted on here a few times before. I'd love to see an Irish Independence era equivalent. Easter Rising, Irish War of Independence and Irish Civil war pictures with today's picture merged into it would be very interesting.

    Great pics! When I was standing on the steps of the Reichstag a while ago I thought of that famous photo of Zhukov and his staff after the fall of Berlin.
    There could be some good ones from Dublin, for example artillery pounding the GPO in 1916 or the Four Courts in 1922.
