I believe this is a case of Marketing getting ahead of themselves. I don't believe it's released yet.

The original one [which I have] was bundled with SOCOM a year or two ago. The OP is talking about the new version of it. There are a few tweaks to it's appearance etc. I haven't seen it anywhere outside Sony Marketing.

Well, the Camo version (http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/02/18/new-official-ps3-bluetooth-headset-in-urban-camouflage-available-soon/) was, I assume, supposed to be out now in the US (since it was to be released alongside SOCOM4).
However, when I was asking GameStop about the current one out, they said they're not selling it anymore since the new revision (the one you're talking about) is coming "this year".

But I guess the headset should be around soon, since they're supposed to be selling it (camo one) now...

Recently got the official Sony, but the older version. After doing some research, couldn't find any mention of when (or even confirmation of 'IF') this will hit our shores.
