Hi all, just looking to gauge reactions as to whether it's worth it to join IMRO? I'm in a band, been together for nearly 2 years now. What have other small/medium bands who have joined or haven't think about them?

If your playing in an original band, and plan on recording or releasing tunes then its extremely important to join up, without properly copywriting your songs your leaving yourselves wide open, I've heard of producers ripping bands off because they were too naive to get their songs copywritten.

Plus, if you get any radio play, or play any festivals such as Oxegen, IMRO insure that you get royalties. so yes definitely worth joining.

Theres no negatives to joining so well worth it. Either you get radio play etc etc and they look after royalties for you or you dont but either way its alot better and safer to be covered.
