Urgent flight identification help

    Can you any longer fly from say kerry airport to stansted on a drivers licence. Ie is it passport only now for id? Need to fly out This Thursday but friend who was to accompany me has no passport. Would he also need passsport for ferry as an option?

    Passport only on Ryanair (at least for Irish people).

    I'm sure someon will put up Ryanair's T&C's but this question has been asked before.

    Not needed for ferry though.

    check with your airline. various photo id is sufficient but each airline have their own requirements. ryanair is passport only for example.

    With ryanair on the Kerry - Stanstead flight, you need your passport. On all ryanair flights out of Ireland you will need it.

    Correction: On all Ryanair flights you will need it. Even those entirely inside Ireland (say Dublin to Cork).
