Friesian bull calves

    hi folks just wondering what friesian bull calves are making today

    have 10, 2 months old almost weaned

    4 jersey cross breeds

    8 1 month old

    there 50 50 holstein freisian
    and 100 % friesian too very healthy stock any estimates??

    if thier holstiens , the two month old black and whites might be worth 200 , the jersey cross would hardly make 50

    I sold 5 nice type british freisan's last saturday one month old. Sold from €125 - €185 averaging €149. I saw good strong freisans probably a couple of months old making €200 -220 max

    its really a sellers market at the minute... ask a ridiculous price and work back from that... we did that today with a bull we where selling and got 500 more than we where expecting:)

    I know Just giving an idea of whats around. The poorest week old calves were making 105 for the shippers. The older ones 8 weeks or so were making around the 200. No jerseys so wouldnt know about them.

    Thats for sure! Take it while you can.. although lost our angus bull on Friday,so shopping for a bull myself. some ridiculous prices being quoted.
