Hi, my car is not listed on 123.ie, its listed as a petrol (200bhp) and not a Diesel (140bhp) would I be paying more as its listed incorrectly. Any idea who to contact as its happened before when I went into a motor factors they said my car was a petrol, so there must be a central database with the info.

Call the importer and ask them for an email/letter saying "car bearing reg number x and chassis number y has the following engine...".
Give that to the insurance company.

It's obviously loaded wrong with the VRO, but I'm surprised your motor tax isn't also incorrect.
