Hi - I want to sow some biennial flowers for next spring and summer. Any suggestions for easy to sow and protect during the winter? I have a cold frame for the winter. Ideally I'd like a selection that would give me a good spread through late winter/early spring right through the whole summer next year.
    Thanks a lot!

I have a pack of Honesty I am going to give a go

Foxgloves are very easy also, just sow them direct in the ground and they will self seed. Just be aware that they are Poisonous if eaten

Probably better to go with Hollyhocks, they look the same but are safe.

Canterbury bells (campanula) and Sweet William are also very easy and reliable
