new wheel-wobble

broke a spoke a few weeks ago, had to get a new wheel,
wheel got, meself and the wife headed out for a spin, shes not great on a bike so when i overtook her to get to a space to let a car by and then hit the brakes , she didnt react and ran into the back of me, didnt think much of it, had a quick look at everything on both bikes and all seemed ok,
thought i had a brake rubbing so when i got home i span the back wheel and theres a definite wobble in it,
should a little ding like that have buckled the wheel ? im a bit dissapointed that it did..
can it be repaired rather than replaced... cant really shell out another 60 quid,
i may be able to get a wheel off someone, are they hard to put on or am i better to bring it in to the shop..

If the rim isn't bent (which it shouldn't be considering your description), it should be a quick enough job for any decent bike shop to fix. Cost is probably no more than 30 quid I would think

Should be a lot less than that to fix a simple buckle presuming it is possible, €10 or under I would expect.

hopefully yer right lads, seem to be doing nothing but spending money this year, depsite doing F*** all mileage, preferably a tenner but if its a bit more it wont be the end of the world..

Bee Cycles at the Dolphins Barn cross roads is good for those kind of quick, cheap repairs. He'll usually do it on the spot and is open till seven i think.
