Would you hire a maid?

Gorgeous Brazilian girl going around the doors here offering a maid service for €10 per hour. Says she'll do anything (household chores wise) just make a list and she will tackle it. So I'm thinking no more filling the dish washer for me (no matter how much she likes it .. oh er) in this bachelor pad, nor doing laundry either. Three hours a week from my hawt Brazilian girl should do it as I live in modest dwellings.

Wondering if she would do it stark naked for €20 an hour but I may leave it a while before asking for extras. Also, I think the fact that she is a babe might ultimately negate my need for maid for I envisage that on days that she is due to call round, I will no doubt have the house spick 'n span on foot of her arrival and answer the door in suitable attire.

Would any of you good folk of AH hire a maid? Have you ever hired a maid?

Obviously looking for more than Yes/No answers of course ;)

Aye - there's 6 of us in the house, so we said screw it, and decided to be lazy! (and not deal with the hassle of rotas and people not doing their share, etc) 24 quid, and she comes for 2 hours a week and cleans the communal rooms top to bottom - gotta say, it's the best idea ever, and it's so nice coming home to a spotless house of a Monday!

If she doesn't perform sexual duties also then no.

I like cleaning, it relaxes the mind so no I wouldn't get a maid.

A maid? A cleaner methinks is the terminology.

God yeah - I'm not one for households chores. Cheap as chips also.

I think you should get a less aesthetically pleasing cleaner.

I couldn't. I don't even like it when my OH "cleans" the house. I just prefer to do it myself!

I've been hounding the missus for ages to get one but she feels uncomfortable having someone she doesn't know potter around the apartment.

    Solution - unemployed sister :P

To be honest, I probably would get a cleaner if I lived alone.

I don't mind most household stuff like gardening, washing clothes/ironing and the like but I hate house cleaning.

hiring a maid is a bit like getting a car, afterwards you wonder how you managed to get by without one

Nah, she definitely said she was a maid.
I think you should get a less aesthetically pleasing cleaner.

The whole idea is to get a maid that is so hawt, that when she leaves, I have no option but to fap to thoughts of such unrelenting beauty having just frequented .. the unfrequented. A less aesthetically pleasing maid may very well do just as good a job, but it is two birds that I am trying to kill; the need for maid and also the dream of having cute Brazilian boobs bounce gently around my humble abode.

Yeah she probably got the translation from google or something.

I have visions of Colin Firth and the portuguese girl on Love Actually. Are you a bit of a Mr Darcy?

    Or a Mr Perve?

Yes, if she plans to clean out the dirty dirty fireplace while I plan to catch updates on Sky Sports News.

I live in Thailand and have often hired a ''maid'' to polish my knob .I usually pay 40 euros for overnigh but only if she is a stunner and under 30 .Otherwise 20 Euro is enough for an average looker .

you are confusing maid with prostitute. being a maid is honest work.

Does she happen to have a hawt brother in the business? Number to pmz purleaze.

I don't know why I didn't consider this before actually. I'm busy all the time, but I do what has to be done around the house. I won't lie though - it stresses the shit out of me.

Yeah but keep it in the pants.

My only advice in this instance would be to watch the sheets blowing into the water scene in Love Actually - maybe you could re-enact this with some improvisation. ;)

No. I don't mind cleaning - even kinda like bits of it, but hate bits too: like cleaning the shower, oven, windows. Cleaning the toilet is actually preferable to those.

OP - it is critical that you new 'employee' wears the appropriate attire. This would also be quite suitable.

I fear I have become too invested in this thread, as I am confused, excited and sickened by the fact that I now want to go to the home of a complete stranger and watch it being cleaned. I seem to have an over-fertile imagination allied to an over-abundance of time on my hands.

What time should I come 'round OP?

Thanks for that Pete.. but I think I'll pass =P

I wonder if my Brazilian ex is working now or not

Bathrooms, windows etc I can live with. I'm much more of a DIY'er than a cleaner. Mention the words 'laundry' or 'iron' and I'll break out into a cold sweat though. I kinda envy women who say they enjoy all that, would make it much less of a pain in the arse. My mother takes it to ridiculous lengths though, I've seen the daft bint ironing face-cloths and socks..

Deal! Why didn't you say so sooner?

I'd have to say, keep an eye on the Brazillan cleaner, just in case she decides to trim the "bedroom carpet" back to a little landing strip or even just a wooden floor.

I actually love cleaning the fridge - something so satisfying about it, don't know what.
I remember when I was a kid working in Tesco stacking shelves I got out of doing a manual stock-take (counting every item by hand and writing down the amounts in a notebook, no scanner - ffs ) by offering to clean all the meat fridges. :)

Victor in the original Nikita makes him look like an amatuer.

Victor had a solution for the clean up problem, Hydrochloric acid.

Would I hire a maid? Probably not.

Would I hire a hot Brazilian girl to scope out? Hmmmm.....................

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,028 ✭✭✭✭--LOS--

we had one in the first place I rented, we only hassled the landlord to get one as he mentioned it as incentive to take the place but didnt organise it until we put the pressure on. It was a good thing as there were quite a few of us in the house, I did always keep my room locked though so the maid couldnt clean there, just wouldnt like someone goign through my stuff.

The gorgeous hot girl gets the jobs but she sends her mother or ugly sister to do the cleaning. You will never see her again.

Take her to court for false advertising.

    Come to a 'settlement'.

Instant (after months/years of legal battling) bangmaid.

    >>Would you hire a maid? <<

Why would i ,as i have a Thai wife .Having said that i could get a maid from Burma ( i live in Chiang Mai ) for the equivalent of 100 euros a month .( it does not appeal to me however ).

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 17,689 ✭✭✭✭OutlawPete

Would those Burma maids spank you when you're unnecessarily bold?

If so I recommend you get one.
