    Hi

In September GF and me will be spending few days in Amsterdam, then we have to make our way to Luxemburg, where we will stay few days with some friends.

What's the best way to get from AMS to LUX? Flights are quite expensive
    - does anyone know how much would the train cost? Or maybve is it possible to rent a car in AMS and drop it of in LUX? Are there any ther options?

WHat's the best way of getting from LUX to DUB? CLosest Ryanair connections are Brussels or Frankfurt - does it make sense to fly for there or is itr better to just get more expensive direct flight?

And as an afterthought - any reccomendations for a decent place to stay in AMS? Nothing too fancy but not a hostel either, travelodge standard would be ideal, location is important too.

    Thanks

Train via Brussels is €60 single see here for details (you might be able to get cheaper fares on the slow trains).

Regarding a car, your best bet would be to check with the agencies themselves whether 1-you can bring the car across the border (shouldn't be a problem) and 2 - how much a one way rental is. Your best bet might
be just to fly in and out of amsterdam and return the car from where you hired it.
