i know 'on track' on cook street is open today but i dont know if they would have what you are looking for seeing as they are a mostly singlespeed/fixed gear shop.

Awe,if I had of seen your post earlier I would have let you know I was in my shop today, someone from on here needed me to look at a broken shifter so I opened especially, done a random puncture too!
What mech is it you need? I open at 8am tomorrow morning if that's any good to you?

On the topic of a back derailleur, I've just broken mine. Specifically, the little bit that's screwed to the frame broke in two (apologies for the lay speak, I'm not that mechanical). Can this be fixed without getting a whole new derailleur? It's a 105 that I've had for 2 years now.

Sounds like you will just need a new hanger.
