    Hey girls,

I have quite bright red hair... not ginger per say, but red. And i struggle with blushers so much.. have any of you got any advice?

As in, i'd love to wear those cool bright pink ones in at the mo but i reckon i could look like an advert for Crayola. At the same time, brown kinda drains me a tad as im quite fair so look like i've got dirt on my cheeks.

    Any tips?

    SM x

My friend is a redhead and vlogs about make-up hauls and the like, you might find some tips there: http://www.youtube.com/user/selinajelibaby

I think you can still pull bright colours off, its all about how you apply it really.

Brown blushers are probably too dark. The best I've found for contour is MAC Cubic - it's described as a pink but I don't think it's pink! I also love Well Dressed. ELF Tickled Pink and Joy work well for me also - I'm fairskinned but blonde. There's a couple of bright pinks on ELF - they're good quality, and cheap, so maybe worth a try? NARS Madly is also really good.

I love the super pink ones as well and now have ended up with 2 or 3 - maybe 2 or 3 more than I need :)

You should get maybe a warn toned blusher to add a hint of colour to your cheeks. I'm very pale myself with dyed redish-brown hair and i find they suit me more at the moment. I know Mac can be a pain in the behind most of the time but Macs Melba blush or Margin may suit you. If you google image either of them it'll give you a swatch of each colour. :)

Think Im gonna try the pinky ones that Mac have... although Philosophy have an immense one ''Look on the bright side'' that i may just have to treat myself to!

    Dont ya just heart makeup!

I'm very pale and have light blonde hair. I use either the Benefit Coralista or the Benefit Sugarbomb. Sugarbomb is great cause it has 4 blush colours that mix together, or you could just use the corner of your brush and use one colour.

I wear a little blush everyday but the Benefit boxes last me absolutely ages, so its good value for money. I like buying make up from make up counters, cause its easy to get good advice :)

Use two blushes, something very subtle to add the colour back to your cheeks, a pale bronzer would do, and then just put a tiny bit over the apples of your cheeks, you'll get the effect but if won't be clown like!!
