The main picture on the ad is a boot release button. It is a common joke on this board that skoda octavias have big boots. I know the link is for a superb but still, I thought it was funny seeing as the superb is bigger than an octavia nad this particular link is for an estate model meaning it must have a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge boot

All the same why have that as a main photo?

As an owner of one of these Superb Combis I can confirm the boot is monstorish ... It needs it's own air traffic controller !

Why is s/he pressing the boot release button when the boot appears to be open?

The selling point of a Skoda Superb Combi is that the boot has an electric open and close function which is operated from the interior of the car, the boot and the keyfob.

Nothing about a Boardsie here Im afraid, just a salesman selling a unique standard feature others charged around €1,000 for.

I presume it's the button to close the boot.

Actually the button is not being pressed. In any event, one must also push the button to close the tailgate.

Electric tailgate is not a standard feature on that car. And you can look for yourself at the extra cost for the feature.

Thats a bit of an assumption. Ive seen that add and it never entered my head that it was an odd photo & that it must be a boards user having a joke. The electric open/close is a pretty slick feature and certainly worth highlighting. When the car is at bmw money, everything needs highlighting.

Does look like a lot of car. Like the glass roof too.

Fine weather car though, just look at the cream coloured footwell. You'd have to leave your shoes at the door!;)

He must have got an accomplice to press the boot close button, judging by the rest of the pics the photographer is about 3foot tall.
