Lost My Provisional Liscence!?

    Hi all,

    Just discovered this morning I'm after losing my provisional liscence on a typical easter bank holiday night out :rolleyes: Was using it as ID.

    Fingers crossed it'll turn up somewhere, but if it doesn't, can I get a replacement without too much hassle? Does it cost much?

    Yeah just get a form signed by Gardai - there is a standard one for lost/stolen documents. Think a new one costs 10 or so.

    Word of advice - dont use passport/driving license on nights out - try get a garda age card!! Been there and lost a lot of them in my time!!!!

    A Duplicate Licence should be applied for when your licence is lost while still in date. To apply for a Duplicate Licence\Learner Permit you will need:
    • Application Form D800 - Duplicate Licence Application. Please ensure your P.P.S. Number is included on your application.
    • Two photos (signed on back).
    • € 10 Fee.
