Argument going on at home hear.

    Was there ever:

    a) a quarry
    b) a landfill

in the Laughanstown / Tully church area. We know that Kilbogget park was a landfill and of course Ballyogan. But was there ever a either the quarry or landfill in this area between modern Cherrywood and Cabinteely village?

I get the impression a lot of excavated material (soil, rock) was dumped on the Cherrywood site.

Don't know anything about that one.

I do remember Ballyogan and Kilbogget. I particularly remember Kilbogget as it was always full of discarded hypodermic needles that we used to stick in each other. How in God's name any of us is still alive I don't know:o
