Car rental Holyhead Fri-Sun

    Looking to rent a car over a weekend from Holyhead but most places seem to be closed on Sunday.

    Anyone know any car rental company in HH that operates on Sunday? Or any other suggestions?

    Most of these smaller rental places operate a scheme whereby you can just drop the keys in a special letter box when you return the car in case they aren't open at the time. So as long as they're open on Friday when you arrive, you'll be OK. I think Hertz have a desk in the terminal building.

    I have done this in holyhead with a mini bus,a small operation right across from the port.

    Well you might find difficulty in finding a car rental company open on Sunday, but there are some companies that offer their service both on Saturday and Sunday. You can try booking at http://www.pointcarhire.com/ as they offer cars from major rental car suppliers. So its rest assured that you will find at least one supplier that offers its services on Sunday.
