    Hello all,

I just recentl;y moved to Cork.I'm always doing some kind of sport or other and did an adventure race last year. With the way i work with shifts it suits me as i can train on my own if needs be.However i would love a club or other training buddies as i want to get back into it now and do a few towards the end of summer,(or sooner if the body clicks quicker :p)So does anyone know of any clubs around the city or even further.Cork tri club has been mantioned but is there anywhere else aswell. If not is anyone interested in getting together for training or even starting a club because i think there would be quite a big response if there was.

    Thanks for reading
PS. if there is a thread or section about this already then apologies mods !!

    Hi.
I am also keen to get into adventure races, but not sure where to start in terms of training etc. I am not a member of any club and work shift so can train on week days etc. I have three month old twins at home so have not had time to get out running etc. but am looking for motivation/incentive to get back into it, defo would be interested in club/informal training

hey natian08, have not had any chance to try any new routes mentioned in original post, twins eat into all free time, the woods up at Garryduff allow for a decent run if you vary your route and parts of it are quite steep if thats what your'e looking for. Have not been out running in quite a while and even longer since I've been out cycling. Going starting re-building basic fitness levels. Let me know if ya want to train etc.
