How does one go about working out how much concrete/cement is needed for a driveway?

The old driveway is 7 meters long and 5 meters wide.

So how do I work out how much concrete/cement is needed?

Oh,and how is concrete/cement priced? (is it per meter?)

    Thanks.:)

P.S-Would concrete cheaper than say a red cobble brick driveway??

    L x W x D = XX m3

Its sold per meter cubed, off the top of my head think its about €50 per meter at the moment, could be slightly off on that

    So is it.....
    L is 7 meters
    W is 5 meters

What depth "D" is suitable for a driveway,6 inches??

Ye if you have a minimum of 5" you should be ok

    Right so......if the driveway is 7 meters x 5 meters x 6 inched deep.

And lets say that the concrete is 50 euro a meter.

How do I work out the amount and cost of concrete required.

    Is is 7 x 5 x 6 and then x 50 euro???

    7 x 5 x 0.1524 meters (6") = 5.33m3 x €50 = €266.50
