Gradient Maps?

Does anyone know of maps showing specific gradients for roads in Ireland? Always find it a bit frustrating on Mapmyride particularly after an ardous climb only to find the average gradient over the entire distance and not the particular stretch that made it so arduous. I now I could go into mapmyride and map those actual stretches but am basically looking for an easier way to find out if possible.

map my ride shows the elevation. go to the map of the route and in the top right corner there is a button saying show elevation. will show you the elevation along the route.

Ridewithgps.com does what you want, it shows the gradient at each spot.

That Ridewithgps.com site isn't very good with the gradients or is it just me ?

There's a local climb here that's 19% in parts according to my computer and mapmyride, but ridewithgps.com only puts it at 6% max

I even tried mapping the steepest part on mapmyride and ridewithgps but the ridewithgps still says it's only 6% gradient.

    They are averages.

I know but even when i put in the steepest part on both ridewithgps and mapmyride, mapmyride is a lot more accurate showing the 19% gradient.

From what I've learnt today on ridewithgps.com you can zoom in on the route and obtain the gradient for any particular stretch when you place the cursor over it.
