Missed sign on date

I've no idea how, but I got my sign on dates mixed up. I was supposed to sign on on monday the 18'th. I went down to check if I could sign on tuesday but there was a notice in the window that said anyone late signers must go to hatch 8 in clondalkin local office on fridays between 10:30 and 12:30. So I wait until today and go to the local office and lo and behold it's bleedin' closed!

The note on the window says it will be open on monday the 25th of april, do you think I could try late signing then?

Also it's good friday so the post office is closed, but there was a notice saying it will be open on saturday between 9:30 and 1pm, will I be able to collect my payment then or will there be no money for me since I forgot to sign?

I'm such a muppet I know, I've never missed a signing date before. So annoyed at myself.

There's another thread today about collecting your dole tomorrow. It should be okay, but check the link in the other thread.

As for signing on, the best thing you can do is get to the office as soon as you can when it's open and explain what happened.

Although you saw the sign stating that SW will be open Monday 25th, I doubt that it will. The Dept website states the following
Easter Arrangements 2011
Office Opening Hours

All of the Department's Offices will be closed on Good Friday, 22 April 2011 and Easter Monday, 25 April 2011. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, 26 April 2011.
