You didn't answer his question smart arse.

Yes Monday is a bank holiday, but is Friday?

You must be joking, Banks take every day off going. They rape us, rob us, and now they want the day off. Banker!
    Annoying isn't it!

There are 9 public holidays in Ireland each year. Public holidays in Ireland (as in other countries) may commemorate a special day or other event, for example, St Patrick's Day (17 March) or Christmas Day (25 December). On a public holiday, sometimes called a bank holiday, most businesses and schools close. Other services, for example, public transport still operate but often with restricted schedules. The list of public holidays in Ireland each year is as follows:
    • New Year's Day (1 January)
    • St. Patrick's Day (17 March)
    • Easter Monday
    • First Monday in May, June, August
    • Last Monday in October
    • Christmas Day (25 December)
    • St. Stephen's Day (26 December)
Good Friday is not a public holiday. While some schools and businesses close on that day, you have no automatic entitlement to time off work on that day.

That's from the citizens information site. So they may be open or they may not :pac:

Seems to be gone. There used to be a website that sold alcohol at time of the day or night, even on good friday, and the likes. They would deliver 10miles of Dublin city center. They got around the law by setting up their business from spain, but delivered from Dublin that day. It was just a few college lads that did I think. Anyway, I can't find it on google.

I'm quite surprised they are running as normal. I wonder if this will in reality be the case.

That depends, are you in need of a donkey and want to rent one for your use? Or do you have a donkey and would like to rent it out to interested donkey afficianados?
