    This site puts it at around 10GBP per gram; hence more towards 30 then 10 I'd guess.

    The only way to know for certain is to take it to a jeweller and get the gold content valued. You will be better off visiting a jeweller rather than going to one of the currently popular gold companies.

    It would be even better to take it to more than one jeweller, so that you can get the best possible price.

    It would probably sell on eBay . I recently sold cufflinks there and was surprised at the demand ( had at least 4 bidders )

    Its a tie pin, but bear in mind that the front part is the only bit thats 9ct. The clip and chain at the back is plated. Its not worth a whole lot as the gold bit will be very light.
