21 Apr 2011 Waterford United 7:45 Shelbourne RSC
22 Apr 2011 Monaghan United 8:00 Wexford Youths Gortakeegan
22 Apr 2011 Finn Harps 8:00 Longford Town Finn Park
23 Apr 2011 Salthill Devon 3:00 Cork City Drom Soccer Pitch
23 Apr 2011 Athlone Town 7:30 Mervue United Athlone Town Stadium

22 Apr 2011 Sligo Rovers 7:35 Bohemians The Showgrounds
22 Apr 2011 Bray Wanderers 7:45 Galway United Carlisle Grounds
22 Apr 2011 Derry City 7:45 St Patrick's Athletic The Brandywell
22 Apr 2011 Drogheda United 7:45 Dundalk Hunky Dorys Park
22 Apr 2011 Shamrock Rovers 8:00 UCD Tallaght Stadium

Seems RTE haven't heard that Waterford Council like there Good Fridays football free and moved our match down there to today. Long trip down to Waterford, but hopefully we get a result, heard someone saying we haven't lost down there in a good few years so hopefully that continues. Can see a fairly poor away crowd given that this weekends fixture has been changed 3 times and is now on a Thursday.

    NOTE

The Salthill Devon vs Cork City game has been changed to Good Friday 3pm

PS. Very boring thread title. Are the Frasier writers on strike?

UCDD will be a lot tougher than they might've been had it been at New Belfield. Tallaght's pitch will suit them more, but Rovers should have more than enough if it's the first half on Tuesday or the Rovers of the first leg in Sligo.

LC fixtures on over the bank holiday w/e too.

    Shels-Bohs in Tolka @ 7pm on Monday.

Couldn't be arsed checking the rest.

My mate plays for UCDDDDDD, says they're absolutely muck and doesn't except much improvement.

They'll be a lot going on here I'd say, probably best to start a new thread on Sunday for the LC matches.

You can start it on Friday.

Important league games of the weekend out of the way by Thursday night.

We're missing some important players and Bray are in good form so I don't see us getting anything there.

Shaun Maher is suspended. Joe Yoffe, Gary Curran and Alan Murphy are injured.

Both Bohs fans pretending to be fans of other clubs. Bit weird.

First Louth derby I've felt confident of winning in a while. Ideal opportunity to bag our first league away win of the season. 3-1 Dundalk I reckon.

Is the Pats one a spoof as well?

    I would assume so

If it is - and I know I sound like a killjoy, because the junkie one is genuinely hilarious - it seems be circulating widely on FB and email at the moment but also being passed on by people who are basically laughing at the league. Could end up being a bit of an own goal. Kind of like those annoying cartoon geezers at the start of MNS. :)

Confident about tonight, should be knocking a few past UCD, although i thought the same v Bray, fair to say Bray are a good deal better than the students though.

Hoping my accy comes through as well, have had a few bad weeks, getting let down all over the shop.

You can bet they've done their ecker watching Bray and Bohs. If we score early, it would be much better.

Will be watching the Bohs game from a beachside Café sipping red wine, still doesn't beat being in Sligo. Will be a tough one for us, think Sligo will win but hopefully we put up a good fight like we did against Rovers. Lads will be going into this on a high, and Fagan will (more than likely) be on the bench, great asset to bring on in the last 20 :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 27,857 ✭✭✭✭Dave!

Bit of looting, hardly surprising? :pac:

Bohs lucky to be only 1 down there, Sligo have had a few good chances.

Nice dive by the Bohs player

Great pressure from Sligo towards the end. Stupid defensive errors were their downfall.

Very disappointing night. We should have went in at HT up by more than 1 and we came out flat second half. Two extremely poor goals to concede with the lads in defense leaving it to each other to clear and Clarke not punching it etc.
Ndo should have went off before Greene did, he a few weeks behind everyone else when it comes to fitness so the decision to leave him on baffles..

What was with the Bohs fans taking their shoes off and one being thrown on the pitch?. They got on the pitch twice too when they scored, great stewarding from us .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,056 ✭✭✭applehunter

Sligo were good in the 1st half.

Bohs did well to come back into the game albeit with the help of terrible defending from Sligo. Ndo gave up a lot of possession. You would have been better served with Horgan in there I think.
