Whats wrong with my car?

    I keep toppign up engine coolant with water and keeps running out after a day or so. Theres no leak and after driving for a period, smoke / steam ?? is coming from the connector from coolant to radiator at front of engine..When i put water in or release the cap, smoke stops and settles again.

    any ideas?

    Is the steam coming from a connection or is it coming from the rad? Passibly a rad cap. But quite possibly head gasket problem as well.

    Cracked connection / hose or loose clip etc would be the first port of call.

    i reckon as well, replace the hose would be a good start

    Not from the rad but from the connection to the rad.
