FETAC Level 5 course - Cork city

    A FAS course based at Cork County Library which includes a number of FETAC Level 5 Modules will be beginning shortly.

    The modules include Word Processing, Spreadsheet Methods, Database Methods, Clerical Skills, Local History Studies and Personal Effectiveness in the Workplace. Additional modules may also be added.

    In addition to certification in these minor modules FAS participants will also gain on-going work experience in accuracy and attention to detail, through working on 18th and 19th century parish records.

    The course is aimed at persons who have no formal educational qualifications or for persons who have achieved less than 5 D's in their Leaving Certificate and are motivated to learn.

    Only people who are in receipt of a Social Welfare payment will receive a payment for the duration of this Full Time 52 week course. See below for details
