Usually when I get the pop up on my desktop I go ahead an install the update. Just wondering is there a safer way of getting updates.

Would prefer to call them up myself but can't find a link or an updates tab and the adobe site is quite complicated looking. :D

This is the safest way, asking your permission, getting you to download and install it.

Maybe but as regards windows updates others have said its best to call them up ourselves by going into programmes>window updates or directly to the ms web site.

Thats why I'm wondering the same about flashplayer updates, is there a safer way. Wasn't there probs with virus's in the past with flashplayer?

Windows update is built into windows, depending on your settings it will check for updates daily, but may not install them. Clicking windows update gives them a push.

You can go to the Adobe site and get the latest version of Flash and install it if you don't want to update it this way
