    I'm eating 3 every morning.

    From a site:

There’s a ton of debate about whether to eat egg whites alone or the whole egg. Eat the yolk. Yep, the yolk has more calories and a little cholesterol, but it also has almost all of the nutrients. Many studies have also begun to show that egg yolks raise HDL and LDL levels simultaneously, offsetting any of the negative health effects. Egg whites are essentially only protein, which is great, but otherwise they have very little nutritional value.

The egg thing has been long debunked - enjoy. Do a search in the nutrition forum for studies and the science. It's been done to death once or twice (or more) in there

I think it's generally safe to say that the whole "unhealthy" argument has been cleared up with proper scientific fact and research.

OP, eat as many eggs as you want. They're a natural foodstuff and are a good source of protein, fats and vitamins.

The main downside with eggs is not the cholesterol they contain - it's their link with leaky gut syndrome, caused by enzymes in the eggs.

That sounds like cobblesquash to me, any links (genuinely interested). Sounds like it came from some crazy study. Could be wrong! Just would like to see something decent to what you said

Here's one link to check out -> http://www.cutthecarb.com/how-to-reverse-a-leaky-gut-and-stop-autoimmune-diseases/

At the bottom of the article, there's a link to a great podcast called “Autoimmune Disease and Food Triggers” of Professor Loren Cordain of the Colorado State University. It gives a more technical explanation of what's covered in the article.

For the record, I love eggs and eat loads of them! If I suffered from leaky gut syndrome, however, I'd cut them out of my diet until the symptoms disappeared.

I'd be more worried about squeeky-bum syndrome then leaky gut ;)

Do you know what really grinds my gears?

People saying a food is either healthy OR unhealthy. As in there's no food out there that's just neutral, and won't positively impact your health (like say 'superfoods') or negatively impact it (transfats etc).

Didn't look at the link. Have heard this before alright. Something to do with an antimicrobial protein in the white that isn't neutralised(dunno if this is the right word) by either stomach acid or cooking! I still eat epic amounts of eggs as they're a cheap tasty protein/fat/nutrient source.
