I honestly didnt think about its renewal whatsoever!!

The thing is, Will I now be expected to resit a test? OR will I just go ahead and try to renew it with the authorities and see what happens?

Has this happend to anyone else?

If you have a renewal date, I presume it's a provisional licence and you'll get better advice on that here. :cool:

You will be fine.
If it's a full licence you can get a new one as long as it hasn't expired 10 yrs or longer.
