Cables\PSU for Megacd II

Guys,

I have a megacd 2 thing with no cables, what do i need to make it go!

I have a megadrive 2 which sits nicely on it. I also have a megadrive 1. will the megadrive 1 powersupply work on the megacd2? and what other cables do i need?

Right i have this going with a couple of sega powercables i had lying around. just a couple of other questions on it.

1. Do i need to hook this up to the tv seperatly to the megadrive 2 or does the picture come through the megadrive 2 cable to the tv?

2. anyone recomend any decent games for it? I currently have none so dont even know if its fully working, the light comes on though.

2-Batman returns,snatcher,final fight,sonic cd,test it with a music cd to see if it will "read" and "play" it.

No,i dont know if it was much use given both consoles where made of plastic,alot of them do be sold without it,should be fine.

Only problem is it'll cost a bomb! I've been after that one years but never got it in the end. It's one of those cases where the game is in fact rare as well as being desirable.

Remember guys, like the Dreamcast, the Mega CD also has no copy protection.

So you know, you can back up your expensive games to avoid scratching them...!

Could someone tell me what cables you need for a Mega CD 1? Just a Mega Drive 1 power supply and a 3.5mm headphone jack?

I read as well that there can be problems when trying to use an RGB cable with a Mega CD 1. Something about the audio?

My understanding is the MD 1 doesn't have stereo directly but only in the headphone ports

it should mix the sound+pic through the MD with its RF cable without need to buy that cable if your only doing a quick test.
