    Just a bit of information.

Now the hard times have hit it is possible to differentiate a little between genuine people and their businesses and those who were/are just in it for the money.
Kenneling your dog or cat is a prime example.
Now that not so many people can afford holidays there is a lot more competition between kennels for your business.
Thus a price war could insue.
Those kennels who have always charged approx 10 to 14 euros per dog/cat per night are in it for the right reasons. Make a little money but also try and give good value for money.
Those kennels or catteires who were charging upwards of 25 to 30 euros or more per animal per night less than just 6 months ago were really ripping people off. These are the people who are now cutting the prices to win business which in a competitive world is fair enough but be sure to check out the premises as you can be sure they are not willing to cut their profits or loans they have to pay back so the only other thing that can be cut is the service.
Be sure to ensure the kennel is in the I.B.K.C.A and has always given reasonably good value for money.
Be aware of the rip off merchants in any business. They always get found out. Make sure it is not at the cost of your loved animal.
