    Hey.
Myself and my mate are going to sligo in june for a music festival. We want to do it on the cheap as both of us are'nt flush with cash, so no hotels for us! I've found a few B&B's round the Tubbercurry, Ballisodare, even Carrick-on-shannon area, but no hostels. Anyone know of any?

I'm not going near the north part of the county or the coast as iit is a bit of a treck from the gig.

Where are you going so? Where's the festival? Do you want to be based in Sligo Town?

This hostel is in the town, literally a min walk.

You'd be doing well to find a hostel around that area so, not much to do around there so wouldn't be any hostels that I know of. B&B is your best option.

I wouldn't rule out staying in town though, there'd be plenty of buses running in and out to the festival from town when it's on so wouldn't be too hard to get there. A lot more to do around the town too, before and after the festival. Would take about 25 minutes on a bus.

There is camping options for the temple house festival i am nealry sure,it will be hard to find cheap accomadation around there it is in the middle of nowhere. You could ask a farmer could you pitch a tent on their land most will be cool about it i used to do it when i was in my teenages years

I know about the camping on site, we looked into renting a camper van for the festival too, but its a bit dear. The whole hostel/b&b accomidation is kind of important due to health restrictions.

If your looking to do it cheap i would recommend just staying in sligo. There will be public transportation to the festival.Your choices of accommodation are only limited by your budget there is loads of hostels and B&b,or mabey even renting a house for the weekend?
