Hi everyone, I'm 21, not long out of a 4 year relationship. The thing I'm missing most, is cuddles. I have a very handsome friend that I'm secretly mad about who I spoon with The odd time when we're sleeping in the same place. Sometimes I just cuddle my pillow (sad) pretending it's him. I'm on manhunt and gaydar but really all I want is a cuddle buddy that won't mind me holding him for a little while and playing with his chest hair(in a non wierd way):Pis that a reasonable request, or have I gone soft?

What are your thoughts on the importance of a good spoonin'

I'm indifferent on the issue but your question made me laugh out loud!

Most people I know aren't very touchy-feely, I think it could be a cultural thing. Sure there's no harm in a bit of spooning anyway, make love not war and all that.

Must be something in the air... I haven't dated anyone since December '09, didn't think much of it till just a few days ago and what I really miss is the cuddling and just holding each other.

Did anybody else hear about that weird American trend of going into a room of strangers and having a sort-of cuddle orgy? Nothing sexual at all, I think even kissing was not allowed.

No harm in that at all I love to cuddle male or female can feel so good no matter the occasion. Its a great way to start a day or before you go to sleep. At this moment I love to hug Tommy Bowe and never stop

I think cuddling is a very important part of a relationship. The intimacy of it is sometimes just as satisfying as the getting down and dirty fun! I think that is what first drew me to my partner - the warmth and closeness of his hugs and cuddles on our first encounter touched all the right buttons for me. I don't think I could be with someone who would resist cuddles or similar displays of affection.

I love falling asleep in my partners arms, and I love playing with his chest hair too.

I hate stereo typing but the chest hair thing is probably bear-ish amirght?

I've cuddled with female friends before, but it's not really my bag, their boobs always freak me out

surely every man has chest hair to some extend. I've never been with wnyone who didn't. I'm feeling more and more desperate. My friend who I'm secretly mad about gives the nicest cuddles. Also he has a giant disney teddybear for cuddles when he's alone, so jeal...

Can't beat a good spooning. I think the whole "cudle party" thing is weird though; I can't imagine just cuddling someone without having a further connection to them. Of course, I'm emotionally dead so I may not be the best person to opine here!

I also prefer cuddling little guys, it's like they fit better or something and I have to be the big spoon of course.

Yeah I think its a bit weird too. Sounds like something for really strange (odd) people or something I dunno maybe its just the way I was brought up. But I don't think I'd be too comfortable in a room full of strangers in pyjamas cuddling in a random room.

yea sounds like an Americanism alright. I would cuddle my close friends but I would hardly throw my arms around someone I didn't know and get VERY close with them.
