I'm hoping someone here can give me a bit of help, I've just dug my boots out from last season, need to change the rubber studs out for metal ones but the rubber has torn on three of them and I can't unscrew them. I worked them down to the metal but can't do anything.

How about using a vice-grips to grab the metal bit, then unscrewing it?

evntually got them out with a combination of scissors, craft knife, screwdriver and needlenose pliers. picking up a new pair later

Yep best option to pick up a new pair. Ive got two pairs. One with rubber spikes the other with metal ones. Got fed up of changing studs in and out fairly quickly :p

financially this is unlikely, plus its rare to play on a pitch where artificial studs won't be just as good as metal ones. Only place I changed them last year was mount temple on a wet day
