Hi all, does anyone know where you can legally dispose of garden trees that have been cut down?I live in Letterkenny and recently lowered trees in back garden and have about 2 Transit Vans worth of trees to dispose of. A friend said he could use them for his farm but changed his mind so need to get them moved and would rather not use a wood chipper if possible.Don't mind paying a few quid if required.

    Cheers.

yep get a chipper and you will only have a half transit van worth, then you could put the mulch under the hedge to keep down weeds and when it starts to rot you will put some nutrients back in to the soil.or let me know and i can pm) you a number of a lad and he might chip it and take it away for you but that will be between you two. to sort that out good luck.

Put an ad in the Dealer - many people would be happy to take the trees for firewood (assuming they're suitable). I'd offer to take them but we have no way to transport to S. Donegal.
