There may be, but the two cities have separate tranport authorities. You may need to do a bit of shopping around. There are several routes between the two, serving different stations.

Between Manc and Liverpool you will not be able to buy a specialist pass, but you can buy a season ticket for 7 days or a month which can bring the price down a bit for daily journeys - and will be alot cheaper than the fuel and certainly alot easier than sitting in the car for 2 hours!!

Prices of Season Tickets can be checked out on line here:-

But you may have to purchase your season ticket in the rail station and you may need a pass port photo with you. Some season tickets also offer (for an additional fee) "Bus Plus" or "BusPlus and train" which allow you to use local transport services at each end of your journey. These can be a bit cheaper than buying the equivilent bus pass from the local bus companies.

Check when buying and make sure you get the price to the FINAL destination/area when dealing with the ticket office. They are not always the most helpful people sometimes, I am sorry to say.

    Hope this helps :)
