    Hi Everyone,
I am looking for some recommendations for holidaying in Ireland with a baby. I am from Leinster so would be interested in heading to Munster/Connaght maybe to either a nice hotel or a hotel with accompanying lodges that are excellently equipped!

Would anyone have any good recommendations? And also for nice daily excursions that we could do i.e. travel by boat to island or someething...

Would love some ideas to be looking at, Thanks

Depends what age your baby is really but try Kenmare Bay hotel http://www.kenmarebayhotel.com/ .It has some lodges attached to the hotel, there are 2 cruises of the bay in the area,it has a pool etc and is a very popular family hotel.

Fota Island Resort in Cork well worth a look.
Lovely lodges, well equiped & full access to the hotel pool
We stayed there 2 yrs ago with our LO who was 2 at the time - great setting

Thanks for those replies. I've been to Foto already this year as a break before baby came along and yes would def recommend it and go back again, but would like to go somewhere different in summer.

I like Kenmare Bay Hotel alright and I have also been looking at Maritime Hotel in Bantry, looks nice too.

    Thanks again

Try http://www.renvyle.com/ its a lovely hotel and lots to see local or head to Mayo on day trips. Or go to ~Cleggan and get the boat across to Inisboffin for the day.

    What age is baby?
