Area 1 Check in area boarded up in Dublin Airport T1

The whole area of Area 1 check in Area is boarded up for some construction work leaving the space for Turkish Airline Ticket Desk and the way in for the toliet. Do anyone know what kind of improvement going on in Area 1 check in area.

More permanent connection to the walking bridge/ramp to T2, if what I heard is correct.
