One of Arsenals best players this season. Well done Jack.

Well deserved. Hope he goes on to become the heart of that Arsenal team for the next 10 years

Did he win best young employer or something? @thread title?

Congratulations to him, had a great season, but the whole thing is a bit of a joke, Nani should have walked the top award but instead he doesn't even win after being placed in the young players category

After Nani in that category though I think they chose correctly ;)

Well deserved. One of the standout performers in the Premier League this season. Surprisingly the senior winner (Bale) finished second in this category. Hard to understand that one!

Think Nani's antics go against him. This award is voted for by the players. The same players Nani spends every game, trying to cheat out of penalty's and get sent off. I'd imagine his fellow pros dislike him alot!

Same reason Drogba never won it!!

Yeah, as I said in the Bale thread, its more of a popularity contest than anything else, Bale is probably the most likeable player on the list so he won it.

Can't argue with that I suppose. More credible than the senior award anyway.

Another joke considering who else was nominated. Nani by a million miles was the best player in that category.

    More English media hype.

Eh wrong. He isnt media hype, he is the real deal. Has started virtually every game for Arsenal in his first proper season with the Arsenal first team squad. He is an extremely gifted technical footballer, so you're basically showing your ignorance there with your comment. I wonder how many matches you have seen Wilshere play? Doubt its many.

Well done Jack Wilshere fully deserving of the award.

1 goal and 3 assists all season, hardly amazing stats

Stats arent everything, you just have to watch his overall general play to know that the guy is a special player and he should only get better as the seasons go by. Arshavin has some pretty good stats this season but people are saying that he has been quite poor. As they say statistics can be used to prove anything.

If chico was a young english player and wilshere was a young mexican, I wonder how this would have went, stupid biased crap

Nani shouldn't have even been nominated, he's 24.

Fully deserved win for Jack. He's been a revelation. I have concerns about him getting burnt out though; he's looked knackered the last few games and I wouldn't be surprised if that clown Pearce took him with the U21s this summer. 3 seasons in a row with no break are not what he needs.

Hernandez is the real deal too. I imagine he was def'ny in the mix for this. But how anyone could begrudge Wilshire is beyond me. He is the biggest English footballing talent I've seen in the not quite ten years I'm watching EPL and that would obviously include Rooney. And before anyone jumps at me I just have a soft spot for silky midfielders and I think Wilshire will be more level headed then Rooney, I'm not saying Rooney is less talented than him.
Don't forget it's an award that comes from the players too, so hardly media hype.
