Race Tires, width and stuff

    Hi guys,

Started triathlons last year, so have been cycling a lot over the last 12 months and my back wheel is extremely worn.

I'm think of getting a tire with a narrower profile since mine are quiet a bit wider in comparison to what my buddies are using and should help my times a little in the races.

    The rim/wheel is a Jalco DRX 6000 Type:700C Size: 622 x 14 32 H

Current Tires are Hutchinson Flash 700 x 28c.

Can i get narrower race tires to go on that rim or do I need to get a new rim to go with the narrower tires?

    Thanks guys,
    -H

Yes, 23mm tyres will be fine.

    Ok thats great news!

Anybody able to recommend good tires for 90km races? Hopefully that have some puncture resistance too.
    Thanks

Conti GP4000S are good. The S bit is a model designation, not a pluralisation.
