Monthly Contacts

    Hi,
I currently wear daily contacts now and then - like nights out, the odd day here and there, cinema etc I'm considering getting monthly contacts as they work out so much cheaper and I'd like to wear contacts more often. However, I still don't think I'd wear them daily, more like about 3 days a week or so - mainly because of the cost. I'm just wondering will the monthly contacts still last for the 30 wears or do they degrade because of time rather than usage? The person in Specsavers was very vague and I wasn't sure if he just wanted to push the more expensive option or whether he was genuinely unsure so I'd like to know what others actually experience.
    Thanks!

If you wear your contacts for 4 to 5 days a week then monthly will become economical. Monthlys demand attention with cleaning after removal. Infrequent use like you do means dailies are fine for you.

daysoftcontactlenses are relatively cheap dailies and would work out very cheap if you are only wearing them 3 or 4 days a week. You could always order a months supply and have an optician check them out for you regarding fit etc.

I ordered some daily contacts from the site as they're so cheap! Hopefully they'll work out, thanks for the link.
