iphone 3g, 4.2.1, will gps work if jailbroken?

A friend asked me to jailbreak his iphone 3g, he has a navigation/gps app on it that he uses, my gps works fine on my jailbroken 4g, but I seem to remember lots of people having problems with gps. So my question is, if I jailbreak it for him with greenpoison will his gps reciever still work or is there a fix. Thanks

Should work fine. The GPS issues (iirc) were only affecting those who put the iPad baseband on the iPhones to enable an untethered unlock, but those days are gone.
