Hi, im considering doing a Diving Course in Koh Tao in June. Just looking for feedback from other people who have done it. How early do the courses generally start in the morning and what time do they finish in the evenings?

I am thinking of doing it with Scuba Junction if that makes any difference.

Hey, My boyfriend did his course last month in Bans Diving resort. He loved it. The instructors were great and the resort itself is beautiful. He started between 7am and 8am most mornings and was finished at about 5pm.

Koh Tao is awesome, the vibe and the athmosphere is really chilled and easy going.

I got my certs through the same resort. Its going back a while now, but they were brilliant. I've recommended the place to friends who have gone over, all of them really enjoyed the resort. The times above seem about right.

My advice would be to go as far as advanced open water (2 course). The open water is good, but some of the dives on the advanced course are amazing!

I did a one day intro course with scuba junction, can't reccomend them enough! the acc is fairly basic but they are reaaaally nice crowd who work there, so chilled out and laid back. Also the groups in which you dive are much smaller the bans!!! its a beaaaautiful island, have a ball!! I'd say go for it... super jealous!!

these guys will sort u out, i did it with them and it was roughly 250euro for 3 nights accomodation and the PADI open water license as far as i remeber. 4 dives, a pool session and all the theory work so its a bargain and one of the best things you'l do in thailand! Koh tao is amazing and the scuba teachers are sound!
