Some people have all the luck

Some people win the lotto, most people don't -

The pensive soul that i am, i cant help but reflect on how fortunate most of us are.

Im thinking of one particular lady i know has 2 sons, twins, one with leukemia and the other with autusim. The father, the champ that he is left her shortly after diagnosis

Coping with this is something i cant imagine.

No matter how bad we think we have it,there are some people that have true adversity to deal with.

    That is all

As bad as anyone feels there is almost certainly someone worse off than you somewhere!

Most of the stuff we give out about are trivial things

I drove home from town earlier and every light I came to was green. Most luck I've had in ages.

Well this is my point Kieran.

We let things that in perspective are trivial stress us out so much to the point that it gets us down, but if we can put them in perspective, we might not let them worry us

The whole western world in unbelievably lucky and doesn't realise it... I mean, we complain about this and that but no one is dying of starvation because of it.

Very true, I'm a right moany **** but I only moan to get rid of my frustration, I do always tell myself how lucky I am to have my health, friends and family. The moaning is just so I don't bottle it all up, it's like a release!

From reading some of the stuff on that "worst thing..." thread. Very lucky thank ****.

Yeah it's important to have perspective, and nobody likes someone who's always moaning about trivial things, but that said: I don't think there's anything wrong with allowing yourself to feel sad/pissed off/both now and again - as long as you snap out of it and don't inflict it on others.

"There's always someone worse off than you", while true, can be a bit draining to hear at times - it doesn't mean you're a right sh1t for having down moments occasionally. You might still acknowledge how crappy some people have it, and it might just make you feel worse - guilt for feeling bad about your own lot.

Problems are relative and need to be viewed in context...

    Couldnt agree more -

Im thinking more along the lines of some people - including myself that allow trivial **** get on top of them, compounded by more trivial things it becomes one big problem.
