    Can you do a white card course if you only have a tourist visa?

    I'm pretty sure you can. You wont be asked for your visa status when doing it. I think you can do it online anyway.

    Yeah but you usually have to give either your passport number which is linked to your visa, or get it certified by a justice of the peace who would be looking for your passport and/or visa details surely.

    Maybe he/she is going over on a tourist visa to check out if they like australia first, then get their WHV when they return....
