MilSim Night Op- Sunday 1st of May

Deep in the Mangyan region of Mindoro Island, the seventh largest island in the Philippines, chaos has erupted! Villages are turning into war-zones. A ruthless ex-general of the Philippine Army, Luzvimindo di Kidlat, has overthrown the local government. Backed by a force of loyal militants, his regime is destroying villages and murdering the local population who will not support him. Now living in fear the locals are giving into his regime. The Philippine Army is struggling to push the militants back and are low on troops and supplies. Mangyan is the centre of di Kidlat's forces. Once a peaceful village now a war-torn command post.

Back in the United States there is outcry throughout the Philippine community calling for military assistance in stopping di Kidlat's regime. The president along with the heads of the UN have declared di Kidlat's action as genocide towards the local population with hundreds of civilians being killed everyday.

After a meeting between the president, the secretary of defense and the UN, a military plan has been devised. A recon team are to be sent undercover to survey the area and the militant forces before 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta, 1st SFOD-D, are deployed to the island. This counter-terrorism and special mission unit has seen action in Tehran, Somalia, Afghanistan and South America.

Intel reports so far have not been accurate but after a recent turn of events which seen a Russian tanker, transporting nuclear material, captured the coast of Mindoro. The US have now determined a link between di Kidlat and Al-Qaeda with militants from di Kidlat's forces being trained in Yemen. With the possibility of a nuclear attack against the United States, 1st SFOD-D are being deployed to crush di Kidlat's regime. With the threat of a nuclear attack two specialists are being deployed with the US force to dismantle any WMD found in Mindoro.

With the authorisation from the UN for military action the US will stop at no costs to crush the regime and capture di Kidlat!

Things to bring with you! What you must have to play*

• Camping gear, Change of clothes if it gets wet.
• Food/Water (bring snacks for the night games)
• U.S. Special forces : Present day load out, Woodland B.D.U.
• Mindoro forces: Present day load out, Black B.D.U. or Civilian
• Airsoft equipment ( A.E.G. , shotgun and sidearm if possible, spare batteries, a torch* and glow stick* red for Mindoro and green for U.S., also a full face mask or full face protection like Goggles and neoprene* and don't forget Comms!)


Sunday Night the 1st of May
Arrive on site sunday evening at 8:00pm and no later than 8:30pm for registration, briefing and to prepare for battle.
The experience will kick off around 8.30pm and finish around 3:00am Monday morning, then it will be a few beers and craic around the fire if you have any energy left!

Yes full milsim rules will be applied, muliple objectives, 6 hours non stop game, medics, bleed outs, limited ammo and proper chain of command.... Basically what we do in all our night games;)

Unfortunately only one other person. The other 3 have backed out due to commitments on the bank holiday Monday. So we just turn up on the night? Never played a milsim, so no idea what to bring or expect.

Yep was brilliant, sorry I had to leave early. My mate loved it aswell, just tought it was too hard for him to see during the night, dont know what he was expecting haha

First milsim I've played. Really enjoyed it! Loved the part I played as US medic, really made the game feel real. Lots of fun, only down side was having to head off before the end. Will defiantly be back for more.

First of all I'd like to thank all the players who attended on the night Seen alot of new faces aswell as the usual ugly ones but overall a great turnout on the night

I had a good few players from both the US and MILITANT team come and say the were shocked when they encountered the sneaky MERC team that had been deployed halfway through the night The MERC's managed to get the US commander and sub-commander

I think a few the new players we had were not expecting the game to run after 12 as a few dropped out with the good aul "work in the morning" excuse:p but fair play to them for coming out and experiencing it

In the end the US won 3-2 in a really close game:)

When the rebels were attacking killhouse they should have been aloud use more than just b base to attack it, US just focused there torches on one direction and kinda made it impossible for the rebels to sneak up, if they had say C base aswell they woulda got it

Yeah I noticed that but I said from the B base side on the hill so using the hill down not just in Bravo base Was doing that to avoid any crossover's while the 4 man squad moved up to A1
